As the Kalmia Club shared on social media: “Our May Kalmia Club meeting featured a truly moving presentation from member Julie Davidson Meyers, who shared the remarkable story behind her daughter’s homework assignment involving a doll and their family’s Holocaust history.

What began as a simple school project grew into an unexpected connection with a researcher in Germany, leading to photographs, reunions and meaningful moments that helped preserve family memories across generations and across the world. Julie’s slideshow and storytelling were heartfelt, hopeful and a beautiful reminder of the importance of remembrance, connection and kindness.”
